THE RODEO
The calibre of a rodeo comes down to two things: the skill of the competitors and the quality of the horses, bulls and steers. The Stampede Rodeo features the world’s best competitors and animals. Every afternoon at 1:30 p.m., cowboys and cowgirls face off in a furious display of skill and grit, with every win building towards Showdown Sunday, at the World’s Largest Outdoor Rodeo.
RANGELAND DERBY
That pounding of hooves and trembling of the ground can mean only one thing; the world’s premier Chuckwagon event has begun! Witness all the thrilling action over nine nightly heats as 27 Chuckwagon drivers, supported by their outriders and 162 horses vie for prize money and bragging rights.
Races start nightly at 7:30 p.m. and are followed by the fan-favourite Relay Races and the world-famous Grandstand Show.
