Montreal Alouettes receiver Austin Mack is poised to sign with the Atlanta Falcons after the Grey Cup champ shared a picture of himself signing a contract with the NFL team on Monday.
The 26-year-old had a strong first season within the Alouettes, racking up 1,154 yards and four touchdowns in 17 games. He also paced all Montreal receivers in a 28-24 upset victory over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Grey Cup, catching a touchdown and eclipsing 100 yards in the game.
The former undrafted receiver signed with the New York Giants in 2020 and has played 11-games in the NFL, catching seven targets for 91 yards before being placed on the Injury Reserve and released in 2021. He has also briefly appeared on the Tennessee Titans and San Fransisco 49ers practice squads before making the trip to the Canadian league.
