Blue Jays assign 11 players to minor league spring training

The Toronto Blue Jays continue to trim their major league roster after assigning 11 players to minor league spring training on Monday.

All the players re-assigned to minor league camp remain eligible to play in Grapefruit League games. This is the list of the players who were sent down:

Outfielders Zach Britton, Wynton Bernard, catchers Phil Clarke, Andres Sosa, utility player Ernie Clement pitchers Brandon Eisert, Julian Fernandez, Paul Fry, Drew Hutchison Jackson Rees and infielder Addison Barger.

The team now has 42 players, including eight non-roster invitees, left in major league camp. This includes 25 pitchers, four catchers, nine infielders, and four outfielders.
