Robby Fabbri is back in St. Louis.

The Blues signed the 29-year-old forward to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 at the NHL level.

Fabbri was drafted 21st overall by the Blues in 2014, and was with the organization until the 2019-20 season, when he was traded to the Detroit Red Wings. He was on the 2019 Stanley Cup winning Blues, scoring one goal in ten playoff games.

The Mississauga, Ont. native scored 32 goals and 41 assists in 164 regular-season games with St. Louis.

Fabbri spent five seasons with the Red Wings before being traded to the Anaheim Ducks last season. He scored eight goals and eight assists in 44 games for Anaheim.

Fabbri has not suited up in the NHL this season. With the Fabbri signing, the Blues announced that forward Jordan Kyrou was placed on injured reserve, and is week-to-week with a lower body injury.

Fabbri will join the team in Nashville, where the Blues are set to take on the Predators on Thursday.
