Canadiens, Belzile agree to one-year, two-way contract

The Montreal Canadiens have signed forward Alex Belzile to a one-year, two-way contract.

Belizile spent most of last season with AHL affiliate Laval Rocket. The 30-year-old notched 10 goal and 12 assists in 32 games and helped the Rocket reach the Eastern Conference finals of the Calder Cup playoffs.

In the NHL, Belzile played 10 games with the Canadiens during the 2021-22 season.
