Montreal Canadiens forward Christian Dvorak will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing knee surgery Wednesday.

The Canadiens expect Dvorak to make a full recovery before the start of the 2023-24 campaign.

Dvorak had 28 points (10 goals and 18 assists) in 64 games with Montreal this season.

The 27-year-old from Palos Heights, Ill., was drafted in the second round, 58th overall, by the Arizona Coyotes in 2014 and was traded to the Canadiens in September 2021.

He has 207 career points (88 goals and 119 assists) over seven seasons with Arizona and Montreal.
