Canucks ink defenceman Brady Keeper to two-year deal

The Vancouver Canucks and defenceman Brady Keeper have agreed to terms on a two-year, $1.525-million contract.

Keeper, 25, appeared in one game this past season with the Florida Panthers. He completed his first full professional year during the pandemic-interrupted 2019-20 season, registering six goals and 12 assists in 61 games for the AHL Springfield Thunderbirds.

Keeper, a native of Cross Lake, Man., is the first person from the Pimicikamak Cree Nation to play an NHL game.
