The Vancouver Canucks will get a boost to their lineup Wednesday as they look to snap a franchise-record losing streak.

Centre Teddy Blueger will return against the Washington Capitals after missing all but two games this season with a lower-body injury, head coach Adam Foote told reporters before the game.

Aatu Raty will come out of the lineup.

Blueger last played on Oct. 19 against the Capitals, when he recorded his lone goal of the season.

The 31-year-old is in his third season with the Canucks and is set to be an unrestricted free agent on July 1.

In 420 career games, Blueger has 50 goals and 153 points.
