The Chicago Blackhawks have re-signed defenceman Isaak Phillips to a one-year, two-way deal worth $775,000, the team announced on Monday.
The six-foot-three, 22-year-old spent the 2023-2024 campaign split between the Blackhawks and its AHL affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs. Throughout, Phillips suited up for 33 games at the NHL level, totalling six assists in 33 games, while adding four goals and 10 assists across 29 games in the minors.
Originally a fifth-round pick by Chicago in the 2020 NHL draft, the Barrie, Ont., native will be entering his fifth season with the franchise.
