The Chicago Blackhawks have re-signed defenceman Louis Crevier to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000, the team announced on Monday.

The six-foot-eight, 23-year-old began the 2023-2024 campaign with the Blackhawks’ minor league affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs where he recorded three goals and eight assists through 41 games. The right-handed blueliner made his NHL debut in December of 2023 and went on to appear in 24 games with Chicago, tallying three assists.

After two seasons with the Chicoutimi Sagueneens of the QMJHL, the Blackhawks selected the Québec City native with their seventh round pick in the 2020 NHL draft.
