Chicago inks Craig Smith to one-year deal

The Chicago Blackhawks signed forward Craig Smith to a one-year, $1 million deal on Monday, per Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.

Smith, 34, will be suiting up for his fourth NHL team in the last four seasons, with stints in Nashville, Boston, Washington and Dallas preceding his stay in Chicago.

Smith posted 20 points through 75 games with the Stars in 2023-24.
