Connor Dewar re-signs with Penguins

Connor Dewar is extending his stay in Pittsburgh.

The centre is re-signing with the Penguins, agreeing to a one-year, $1.1-million contract Tuesday, per the team.

The Penguins acquired Dewar in a trade with the Toronto Maple Leafs last season.

Dewar, 26, combined for four goals and six assists in 48 games with the two teams last season.

Over 238 career games — including two-and-a-half seasons with the Minnesota Wild — Dewar has tallied 23 goals and 30 assists.
