The Calgary Flames and Connor Zary have come to terms on a bridge contract ahead of training camp.
The team announced Saturday that the sides agreed to a three-year, $11.325 million contract that carries an average annual value of $3.775 million.
The 23-year-old Zary was a restricted free agent.
He recorded 13 goals and 27 points in 54 games last season before suffering a lower-body injury. For his career, he’s put up 27 goals and 61 points in 117 games.
Zary played his junior hockey with the WHL’s Kamloops Blazers, posting 206 points in 203 games between 2017 and 2021.
He has twice suited up for Canada, first at the 2019 U-18 World Championship and later at the 2021 World Junior Championship, where he earned a silver medal.
The Saskatoon native was selected 24th overall by Calgary in the 2020 NHL Draft.
