Kings sign Glenn Gawdin to two-year, two-way contract

The Los Angeles Kings have signed forward Glenn Gawdin to a two-year, two-way contract that carries a $775,000 average annual value.

The 27-year-old forward spent most of the 2023-24 season playing with the AHL’s San Diego Gulls, scoring 22 goals in 70 games. He ranked second on the Gulls in goals and points (55). Gawdin played in one NHL game with the Anaheim Ducks.

Gawdin was originally made a fourth-round pick in 2015 by the St. Louis Blues and has gone on to spend NHL time with the Ducks and Calgary Flames.

The Richmond, B.C. native has recorded one assist in 13 NHL games split between the two teams.
