Kraken sign Caden Price to three-year, entry-level deal

The Seattle Kraken announced Wednesday that the team has signed defenceman Caden Price to a three-year, entry-level contract.

The deal carries an average annual value of $908,000 in the NHL.

Price, a native of Saskatoon, Sask., has spent the past three seasons with the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League. Across 62 games in 2023-24, Price recorded 13 goals and 42 assists for a total of 55 points.

Over 174 career games with the Rockets, Price has 116 points (20 goals and 96 assists).

The 18-year-old was selected by the Kraken in the third round (86th overall) of the 2023 NHL Draft.
