Los Angeles Kings forward Arthur Kaliyev has been suspended for two pre-season games and two regular-season games for kneeing, the NHL Department of Player Safety announced on Thursday.

Kaliyev received a two-minute minor penalty for the incident against Anaheim’s Chase De Leo in the second period of the Kings’ 4-1 win Tuesday over the Ducks.

De Leo left the game after the hit and did not return.
