The Utah Mammoth are adding a Stanley Cup champion to their blue line.

Nate Schmidt signed a three-year, $10.5 million deal with Utah, the team announced on Tuesday.

Schmidt, 33, posted five goals and 14 assists with the Panthers before adding three goals and nine helpers during their Cup run.

The 12-year NHL veteran has 239 points (52 goals and 187 assists) in 741 regular-season games, with another 40 points (10 goals and 30 assists) in 99 post-season contests.
