A relatively sparse goaltending market just got a little thinner.

Vitek Vanecek signed a one-year, $1.5-million deal with the Utah Mammoth, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reported Tuesday.

Vanecek, 29, had a 5-14-4 record, 3.62 goals against average and .884 save percentage in 25 games split between the Florida Panthers and San Jose Sharks last season.

The Czech native has a 2.83 goals against average and .902 save percentage in his five-year NHL career with the Washington Capitals, New Jersey Devils, Sharks and Panthers.

He was drafted in the second round, 39th overall, by the Capitals in the 2014 NHL Draft.
