The Toronto Maple Leafs recalled defenceman Philippe Myers from the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League on Friday.

Myers was assigned to the Marlies on a conditioning loan last Saturday.

The 27-year-old from Moncton, N.B., has played one game with the Maple Leafs this season, appearing in the team’s 4-3 overtime loss to the Boston Bruins on Oct. 26. He did not register any points and was a minus-1 in 12:11 of ice time.

Myers signed as a free agent with Toronto during the summer.

He has 36 points (eight goals and 28 assists) in 159 career games over seven seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers, Nashville Predators, Tampa Bay Lightning and Maple Leafs.
