NHL suspends Canadiens centre Cedric Paquette for two games

Cedric Paquette gets a five minute major and game misconduct for hitting Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras on the back of the numbers. Zegras is shaken up on the play and leaves the game.

Montreal Canadiens centre Cedric Paquette has received a two-game suspension for a boarding penalty against Trevor Zegras of the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday.

Paquette was assessed a five-minute major and game misconduct for the hit in the first period of Anaheim’s 4-2 win.

Zegras was bleeding from his face after the hit.
