Ottawa Senators sign D Jeremy Davies to one-year, two-way contract

The Ottawa Senators have added some depth to the blue line.

Ottawa signed defenceman Jeremy Davies to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 at the NHL level and $350,000 at the AHL level, the team announced Monday.

Davies, 27, spent last season playing with the Rochester Americans, the Buffalo Sabres’ AHL affiliate. He picked up 12 goals and 23 assists in 66 games and one goal and one assist in five playoff games.

He last saw NHL action on Dec. 17, 2023, when the Sabres took on the Arizona Coyotes.

Over three seasons in the NHL, he has no goals and three assists in 22 appearances.
