Panthers forward Sam Bennett game-time decision for Game 3 vs. Bruins

Florida Panthers head coach Paul Maurice said forward Sam Bennett will be a game-time decision to play in Game 3 Friday night against the Boston Bruins.

Bennett has been out of the lineup since taking a shot off his left hand from teammate Brandon Montour during Game 2 of the Panthers’ opening-round series against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The 27-year-old Bennett had a goal and an assist in the series against Tampa Bay.

He recorded 20 goals and 41 points in 69 games during the regular season.
