The Pittsburgh Penguins drafted centre Benjamin Kindel with the 11th overall pick on Friday night, and then decided to move No. 12.

Pittsburgh dealt the selection to the Philadelphia Flyers for picks No. 22 and 31 in this year’s draft, the teams announced.

The Flyers subsequently used the 12th overall pick to select forward Jack Nesbitt.

Nesbitt, from Sarnia, Ont., recorded 25 goals and 39 assists for 64 points in 65 games with the OHL’s Windsor Spitfires.
