Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia left Game 3 of the World Series with left-side tightness after flying out in the top of the eighth inning.

As he ran down the first-base line, Garcia showed obvious discomfort in his oblique area. He was 0-for-3 with a walk and strikeout in the game.

The ALCS MVP was replaced by Travis Jankowski in right field.

Texas had already lost starting pitcher Max Scherzer to back tightness earlier in the game after the veteran right-hander delivered three scoreless innings.

Garcia was the hero in Game 1, hitting a walk-off home run in extra innings to help the Rangers claim a come-from-behind victory to open the World Series.

He has already set the record for most RBIs in a single post-season, driving in 22 so far this October.
