Red Wings sign draft-pick Emmitt Finnie to three-year, entry-level deal

The Detroit Red Wings have signed centre Emmitt Finnie to a three-year, entry-level deal, the club announced on Tuesday.

Finnie, from Lethbridge, Alta., was drafted in the seventh round by the Red Wings in 2023. He has 19 goals and 40 assists this season with the Kamloops Blazers of the Western Hockey League.

The deal is reportedly for $950,000 per season.
