It didn’t take long for Grady Jarrett to find a new landing spot.

The former Atlanta Falcons defensive lineman is joining the Chicago Bears on a three-year, $43.5-million deal, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported Monday.

The Falcons made the decision to cut Jarrett to save  $16.25 million in cap space. Atlanta began Monday with the third-least amount of cap space in the NFL at nearly $5 million over the limit, per Over The Cap.

Jarrett has spent his entire 10-year career with the Falcons and has totalled 36.5 sacks. The 31-year-old was a fifth-round pick in the 2015 draft.

He started all 17 games in 2024, registering 2.5 sacks and was the team’s nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award.
