The Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers made a rare one-for-one trade just before Thursday’s 3 p.m. ET deadline.

The Bucks acquired Kevin Porter Jr. from the Clippers in exchange for MarJon Beauchamp, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Thursday.

Porter Jr. has averaged 9.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 45 games for the Clippers this season.

The 24-year-old didn’t play in the NBA last season after pleading guilty in January 2024 to misdemeanour assault and a harassment violation in connection to an incident at a Manhattan hotel in September 2023.

He reached a plea deal that will keep him out of jail if he completes a court-ordered treatment program and stays out of trouble.

Porter Jr. spent last season playing in the Greece pro league where he averaged 20.8 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game.

In 2022-23, Porter averaged 19.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game with the Houston Rockets.

Beauchamp, 24, was selected by the Bucks 24th overall in the 2022 NBA Draft. He has struggled to carve out a role his three seasons with the team, and is averaging just two points and 1.2 rebounds in 4.7 minutes a game this year.
