The Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers will square off as part of an opening-night doubleheader on Dec. 22 for the 2020-21 NBA season, the league announced Wednesday.

The Brooklyn Nets and Golden State Warriors will take part in the early game, where coach Steve Nash and superstar Kevin Durant will make their regular-season debuts with the Nets.

The NBA is also set to stage five games on Christmas Day, with all of the Lakers, Clippers, Nets and Warriors participating.
