The Ottawa Senators won’t have captain Brady Tkachuk in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Montreal Canadiens.

Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reports that the Senators are not worried that it’s not anything serious, but more of a day-to-day thing.

Head coach Travis Green said Tkachuk and defencemen Jake Sanderson and Nick Jensen would be game-time decisions against the Montreal Canadiens.

Tkachuk and Sanderson are coming off appearances in the final of the 4 Nations Face-Off with the U.S. against Canada.

Watch the Senators take on the Canadiens on Hockey Night in Canada at 7 p.m. ET on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
