The Ottawa Senators are putting some finishing touches on their roster ahead of training camp.

Defenceman Cameron Crotty and forward Jan Jenik have agreed to two-way contracts with the Senators, the team announced Monday.

Crotty signed a two-year deal worth an average annual value of $812,500 at the NHL level and $250,000 at the American Hockey League level. Jenik signed a one-year deal worth $775,000 at the NHL level and $285,000 in the AHL. PuckPedia reported both numbers.

Crotty, an Ottawa native, spent last season with the Minnesota Wild, mostly suiting up for the AHL’s Iowa Wild. The 26-year-old made only one appearance at the NHL level.

In 64 appearances in the AHL, he tallied 10 assists.

Since being selected 82nd overall by the Arizona Coyotes in the third round of the 2017 NHL Draft, Crotty has made two appearances at the NHL level without grabbing a point. He has nine goals and 40 assists in 283 AHL games.

He played alongside Senators captain Brady Tkachuk while with the Boston University Terriers in the 2017-18 season.

Jenik, meanwhile, originally joined the Senators organization last season and suited up for two games at the NHL level without tallying a point.

The 24-year-old primarily played with the Belleville Senators in the AHL, grabbing 12 goals and 17 assists in 52 games.

Since being drafted 65th overall in the third round of the 2018 Draft by the Coyotes, he has picked up four goals and two assists in 24 NHL games.

He was acquired by the Senators in a trade with the Utah Mammoth last summer for forward Egor Sokolov.
