Sharks sign Alexander Wennberg to two-year deal

Alexander Wennberg knows the way to San Jose.

The Sharks signed the forward to a two-year deal with an average annual value of $5 million on Monday.

Wennberg had one goal and four assists in 19 games for the New York Rangers last season after he was acquired in a deal with the Seattle Kraken, where he had nine goals and 16 assists in 60 games.

The 29-year-old Wennberg has 91 goals and 244 assists in 712 career games with Columbus, Florida, Seattle and the Rangers
