The trades continued at the 2025 PWHL Draft as the Montreal Victoire acquired forward Abby Roque from the New York Sirens on Tuesday night.

In exchange, the Sirens received forward Kristin O’Neill and the 28th overall pick, which they later used to select goaltender Callie Shanahan.

Roque, 27, recorded six goals and 11 assists in 30 games for the Sirens last season.

From Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., Roque signed with New York as one of their foundational players ahead of the league’s inaugural season.

O’Neill, also 27, recorded one goal and four assists in 30 games over the regular season in 2024-25, then added one goal and one assist over four playoff games.

From Oakville, Ont., O’Neill was selected in the second round, seventh overall by Montreal in the inaugural PWHL draft.
