NEWTON, Iowa — Sage Karam won for the second week in a row in the Indy Lights series, taking over first place with a victory in Iowa on Saturday night.

It’s the fourth straight win at Iowa Speedway for Karam. He previously claimed a victory in the USF2000 series to go with a pair of Star Mazda wins on the 0.875-mile oval.

Gabby Chaves was second, followed by Jack Hawksworth and Peter Dempsey.

Carlos Munoz, who entered the race in the points lead, finished three laps down in ceding first place to Karam.

Karam led 67 laps at Iowa after leading for 44 in taking the event in Milwaukee last week.
