Formula One World Driving Championship: SEASON POSTPONED-Corona Virus Pandemic
2020 Season opener: The March 15th Australian Grand Prix season opener, cancelled. Postponed: Bahrain ( March 22 ), Vietnam’s debut ( April 5 ), China ( April 19 ), the return of the Dutch GP ( May 3 ), and Spain ( May 10 ). The Grand Prix of Monaco ( May 24 ) has been cancelled outright. Baku Azerbaijan ( June 7 ) is postponed. The Canadian GP Montreal June 14th might be the season-start.
Next Race: TBD. Depending on the status of the Virus, we might not see the season start until June. They could use the August summer break to make up some GP’s. A shortened schedule is certain.

NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series: SEASON INTERRUPTED- Corona Virus Pandemic
Last Race Scheduled: Sunday March 15th: Atlanta: postponed along with Miami Homestead and all races through May 3rd, ( Texas, Bristol, Richmond, Talladega & Dover ) They plan to resume at Martinsville VA ( May 9th ) and intend to re-schedule all 36 CUP races this season.
Points: Joey Logano leads Alex Bowman by 25.

NTT IndyCar Series: SEASON POSTPONED-Corona Virus Pandemic
2020 Season Opener: March 15th, St. Petersburg Florida: cancelled. All of April: Barber Alabama, Long Beach, and COTA/Texas: cancelled. The 104th Indianapolis 500 has been moved to August 23rd. The Grand Prix on the road course to July 4th in a twin-bill with NASCAR. Mid-Ohio moves to August 9th, and Gateway St. Louis moves to August 30th. The Toronto Indy is still scheduled for July 12th.

Sports Cars:
IMSA WeatherTech Series: SEASON INTERRUPTED- Corona Virus Pandemic
Mid-Ohio has been moved to the weekend of Sept. 25th. Laguna Seca has been moved to Sept. 6th to accommodate IMSA teams running the 88th 24 Hours of Le Mans, which will now run Sept. 19th and 20th. The 23rd annual Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta moves to October 17th. The 12 Hours of Sebring is now set for Nov. 14th.

IMSA is scheduled to run CTMP Toronto: July 5th.

Next Rally: May 24th: Rocky Mountain Rally, Invermere BC.
Last Rally: 2020 Season opener: February 1st: Rallye Perce Neige, Maniwaki Quebec.
Karel Kare’, the 2019 and defending champion and going for his 3rd straight championship wins round # 1 with new co-driver Hubert Gadreau in their Subaru WRX STi by a little over 2 minutes over Maxime Labrie and Anick Barrette in their Subaru WTR STi.

World Rally Championship:
Next TBD: April 26th: Rally Argentina ( April 26th ), Portugal ( May 24 ) and Italy Sardegna ( June 7 ): all postponed.
Last Rally: March 15th: Rally Mexico: shortened due to travel restrictions connected with the Corona Virus outbreak. Toyota’s Sebastien Ogier grabbed the lead early and in the wilting heat, held it the rest of the event, winning by 27.8 seconds over Hyundai’s Ott Tänak. 6th win of this rally by Ogier.
Points: Ogier leads Elfyn Evans ( 4th ) by 8.
