Day 2. Quebec City. Poutine ingest. Immédiatement.

What an amazing experience to shoot in historic, Old Quebec on a perfect, sunny day.
La Belle Province, indeed.
I walked the boardwalk by the Chateau Frontenac and said hello to the many tourists around the Place d’Armes, but some of the best fans I found were down the Rue de Trésor.
It is an alleyway filled with artists and their works, and the overwhelming response I got when I asked them if they were fans of the Toronto Blue Jays: “How can you not be right now?” I concur. One caricature artist didn’t know much about baseball, but our team still had him sketch out a picture of Devon White — stay tuned to future posts for how it turned out.
There were plenty of other quick, historic stops yesterday. My personal favourite was the Plains of Abraham, which is a site pivotal to the shaping of Canada. Naturally, I played wiffle baseball on it.
We then had stopped at La Cage aux Sports to watch the game. There, I met Linda. Her husband passed away just over a month ago and was a passionate Blue Jays fan. She said she thought it was fate when our team came over to say hello. I left that conversation with a full heart. It’s yet another example of how the Blue Jays can positively bring people together.

Before I leave, shout out once again to my team. Zach, who hustled with the camera and equipment all day, along with Sylvie and Tina, who are slowly but surely re-teaching me French after I clearly did not pay enough attention in high school.

In the words of Sam Roberts, we’re all in this together.
Yup, that’s right — #22DaysBlueJays is off to Montreal.
