By Brendan Emmett in Quebec City
Hey Blue Jays fans, Team East has finally settled in Quebec after spending most of Friday travelling into La Belle Province.

There was some fantastic scenery on the drive in — this country continues to take my breathe away. I am really looking forward to visiting Old Quebec today and doing some fan scouting there.
We rolled in late in the evening, just in time to catch the sun set over the city — and, of course, just in time to watch the Blue Jays win Game 1 of their series against Boston.

I briefly had time to chat up some fans. Not surprisingly, a lot of people here like Russell Martin and at one point or another were die-hard fans of the Expos. And while it may be true that hockey comes first around here (as it does in a lot of places across Canada) one thing is for sure: people in Quebec know their baseball. I talked with a few fans who were nuts for the Quebec Capitales (Les Capitales de Québec).
In the Can-Am league, the Capitales won five straight championships from 2009 to 2013.
For those who speak French, rogers22jours.com is up and running and the hashtag #22JoursTorontoBlueJays qualifies you for a chance to win tickets to that final home game on Sept. 27. Keep on posting and sharing your love for the Toronto Blue Jays.
Look forward to touching base again soon, as the #22DaysBlueJays road tour rolls on.
