Alex Rodriguez knows a thing or two about winning.
The fourth-most prolific home run hitter in MLB history is now the CEO of A-Rod Corp, a money management firm, which aims to “deliver superior investment results on a consistent and responsible basis, while conducting our business with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.”
Given his expertise in both baseball, and business, the 42-year-old posted a video on Twitter Tuesday night, highlighting five ways in which his two passions are similar.
The highly watchable video is under a minute long, but in case you’re not a fan of Coldplay techno remixes, here’s what Rodriguez came up with.
1. Always play offence
2. Have a game plan
3. Be focused and consistent
4. Master the fundamentals
5. Be a closer
Rodriguez’s former teammate, Derek Jeter, would be wise to heed A-Rod’s advice. One of New York’s most popular athletes, and now CEO of the Miami Marlins, has come under fire from fans for overseeing the team’s sell-off this off-season.
