The Toronto Blue Jays have activated Marcus Stroman from the 10-day DL so that he can start Monday against the Tampa Bay Rays.

In a corresponding move, right-handed pitcher Murphy Smith has been assigned to triple-A Buffalo.

Stroman last pitched for the Blue Jays on Aug. 17, when he aggravated a blister on his right middle finger. In 18 starts this season, the 27-year-old has a 4-8 record with a 5.27 ERA.
