Blue Jays to activate Ryan Tepera when rosters expand Sunday

Dan Shulman joined Prime Time Sports and talked about the likelihood of the Blue Jays being true contenders next season, or if he thinks they are another winter away from putting it together.

The Toronto Blue Jays plan to activate right-handed reliever Ryan Tepera when the rosters expand Sunday, according to Sportsnet’s Ben Nicholson-Smith.

Blue Jays manager Charlie Montoyo said Tepera is “ready to go” after dealing with a right elbow impingement.

The 31-year-old has a 6.55 ERA with nine strikeouts and 1.636 WHIP across 11 innings this season.
