Blue Jays designate right-hander Mat Latos for assignment

The Toronto Blue Jays have designated right-handed pitcher Mat Latos for assignment.

In a corresponding move, the club has activated the recently acquired Neil Ramirez and claimed righty Cesar Valdez from the Oakland Athletics.
