Toronto Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis has suffered a setback in his rehab process.

Travis is currently on the 60-day disabled list as he recovers from a procedure to repair damaged cartilage in his right knee.

The 26-year-old has appeared in 50 games for Toronto in 2017 but has not seen MLB action since June 4. He has posted a slash line of .259/.291/.438 this season.

It remains to be seen whether or not Travis will be able to return before the end of the year but it seems likely he’ll be shut down with the Blue Jays currently 7.5 games out of a wild-card spot.
