Blue Jays DFA Ezequiel Carrera after signing pitcher Seung-hwan Oh

The Toronto Blue Jays have designated outfielder Ezequiel Carrera for assignment after signing free agent pitcher Seung-hwan Oh to a one-year contract.

Carrera, 30, has spent that last three seasons with the Blue Jays. In 2017, he hit .282/.356/.408 with eight home runs in 131 games with Toronto.

Oh, a 34-year-old right-handed reliever, joins the Blue Jays after two seasons with the Cardinals. Last season he had a 4.10 ERA with 54 strikeouts in 59.1 innings of relief.
