Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Derek Fisher has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a left quad strain, the team announced Wednesday.

The 26-year-old was hurt in Thursday’s game against the Washington Nationals. Fisher was 0-for-1 before being replaced by Joe Panik.

Billy McKinney takes his place on the Blue Jays roster, and will be active for Wednesday’s meeting with the Atlanta Braves.

In five games this season, Fisher has slashed .273/.429/.545.
