Toronto Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman will once again throw on Thursday to determine whether he will be able to make his next start.
The right-hander is slated to start on Friday against the Detroit Tigers at Rogers Centre.
Stroman threw a bullpen session on Wednesday in the hopes that it would give the Jays a clear indication of whether he can pitch against the Tigers.
The 26-year-old was struck on the right elbow by a Mark Trumbo line drive Saturday night during a start against the Baltimore Orioles. He was down on the field in visible pain for several minutes after being hit.
The Toronto ace had been adamant that he would make his next start.
