Toronto Blue Jays pitching prospect Nate Pearson will make his triple-A debut for the Buffalo Bisons on Tuesday.

Pearson, who also turns 23 Tuesday, will take the hill on the road against the Rochester Red Wings.

Pearson joins the Bisons from double-A New Hampshire, where he posted a 1-4 record with a 2.59 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, 69 strikeouts and 21 walks in 62.2 innings of work over 16 starts.

The 22-year-old was selected in the first round (28th overall) by the Blue Jays in the 2017 MLB Draft.
