Blue Jays recall Danny Barnes, option Deck McGuire

The Toronto Blue Jays have called up right-hander Danny Barnes and have optioned righty Deck McGuire to triple-A Buffalo.

Barnes has a 2.57 ERA in 16 games with the Blue Jays this season.

McGuire was recalled from Buffalo on Monday and made no appearances with the Blue Jays.

The 28-year-old first-round pick from 2010 has a 2.70 ERA in 30 innings with the Bisons this season.
