The Toronto Blue Jays recalled right-hander Scott Copeland from triple-A Buffalo on Monday following their 10-6 win over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim at Rogers Centre.
A corresponding roster move will be announced Tuesday, the team said.
Copeland, 27, pitched in two games for the Blue Jays earlier this month, compiling three innings of scoreless work, allowing two hits and two walks.
He is 3-1 with a 2.43 ERA in six starts for the Bisons this season, allowing just 24 hits across 37 innings.
