Blue Jays’ Diaz leaves game vs. White Sox with back spasms

Watch as Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Curtis Granderson triples and third baseman Josh Donaldson drives him home with a two-run home run against the Chicago White Sox.

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Aledmys Diaz left Tuesday’s game against the Chicago White Sox with back spasms.

Diaz was replaced by Gift Ngoepe to start the seventh inning.

Before leaving the game, Diaz had gone 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs.

The Blue Jays are already struggling with injuries at the shortstop position. Troy Tulowitzki is currently on the 60-day DL after undergoing surgery to remove bone spurs from both of his heels.
