Braves’ Brian Snitker named National League Manager of the Year

The Atlanta Braves‘ Brian Snitker has been named the 2018 National League Manager of the Year.

Snitker earned the award after his Braves won the NL East for the first time since 2013 with a 90-72 record.

The 63-year-old overcame fellow finalists Bud Black of the Colorado Rockies and Craig Counsell of the Milwaukee Brewers.
