Los Angeles Dodgers third base coach Chris Woodward won’t be one of the finalists for the Toronto Blue Jays‘ open managerial position, Sportsnet’s Arash Madani reports.
Woodward told Madani he has not been in contact with Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins about the job but has interest in managing in the future.
Woodward has been the Dodgers’ third base coach for the last three seasons, and also serves as the infield coach. He played with the Blue Jays for seven years over two stints during his career.
